That strike has been off and on since before Xmas, it will never happen in the end because the staff know there winging about nothing being some of the best paid in the sector and like most airlines in the recession BA is living on a knife edge at the moment, a strike would cost BA a lot of money and they cant pay the wage bill on reduced income so there would have to be job losses, no one wants a 15% pay rise this month and a p45 next month when their in an industry that isn't hiring.

But apart from that with my budget I prefer to enshew the big name conglomerates and support the little independents by traveling on either Air Veal Calf or Battery Hen Airlines, they may make you defecate before boarding, be standing room only, pressurize the plane with helium, give you half a dry Ryvita as your meal, show snakes on a plane as the in flight movie the open the sluices to dump weight mid flight and have see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil as captian co-pilot and navigator, but at least like the battery chicks their cheep!

You'd think strikes would be a thing of the past with 214 people chasing one packers job at our local Tesco supermarket
        Slow gets boring fast.
