hydra120, motor timing?

    hydra120, motor timing?

    what is a good begining setting for a hacker b50 5070kv motor? currently it is set at 7 degrees (motor is going into an n2 hydro) thanks

    he Hacker I believe is a 2 pole motor like the Feiagos I ran those on normal timing.

      well yours seems to be the best response I've gotten so far(to be fair I posted this Q on rcgroups\castle board too). just wasn't sure about timing for 'high' rpm motors. thanks for the input.

          thanks Rex, Though being its in an N2 hydro it might like a bit more timing.

          when I had time I would sit at the lake and play with timing to see the difference in each boat. Now that I run D wind Neu motors I just go with what they recommend.

            after searching for a good bit, I find that; you can't use the timing no.s to directly compare esc's, the settings(low, norm etc.) on a castle unit are more for setting type of motor...the no.s are more for how aggresively the unit adjusts the actual timing. so normal and start with '7 degrees' should be ok for initial runs. thanks all
