You wanna know what gripes me?!

I thought we'd all appreciate a thread to list our gripes in. Manufacturer suggestions, anonymous member habits, everyday pebbles in the shoes things. What really chaps yer arse.

And I'd like to start with the designers of FE boat hulls that incorporate deck and canopy air catching protrusions that look like hood scoops for gas engines. Electric motors are what set these boats apart from their smelly, sticky, noisy (Ha!) counterparts, so please don't try to make them look like they're conversions! Think smooth, sleek, sealed and sexy not aggressive and airy. FE needs to look like a different class. One look and you know there's no petrol burner in there.

    Whew, I feel better.

Yabut, the real boats have em, and so will mine. you will be able to tell its electric by the sound.

What I don't like are sharp angles on deck lines (like the mean machine and the whiplash) - angles aren't sexy, but nice round sweeping curves sure are! I also am not a big fan of the DF flat space ship headon look for monos... where's the beef? Offshore racers have that nice full bow and so will mine.

Can't say I feel better, 'cause I didn't feel bad before, but now I have expressed my gripes.

I guess it just depends on if they can spell dolphins.

I can live with the designs....to each their own. I personally like sharp lines in some designs. What gripes me is why is takes USPS as much time to move a package 120 miles as it does to move it 1100 miles!!! My new rudder has been 30 miles away since 5:30 this morning in one of the smaller sort facilities in my state.........I wanted it now!!!!.....whew....ok, I feel a little better....

I actually prefer points sitting way up high........way up firm and high.........not soft and low.

What bugs me the most is USPS priority mail ... I pay a higher price so I can track the package and the lazy SOB's won't scan it.

I didn't mean to derail the thread. Hydro, it's not your fault that you missed out on proper culturing of good rock n roll......lol. I won't hold it against you.

ABSOLUTELY!!!! mine was priority mail as well and tracking is a joke for the most part. Then when you do see tracking info you see what I saw with mine. 2 days to go 1100 miles and another 2 days to go 120 miles....

I am really referring to the lines as you look down on them; not where the water touches em - those HAVE to be sharp. But when you look at the front of the MM where the hull meets the deck, there is that angle there instead of a swoop like the mystics. or the cowl of the whip with its square corners... Maybe you guys like em, but I don't. yes up high is definitely better.
