not that i have used them but looking at there constant watts they will produce more than say a sv27 motor, the sv27 has been used in MM both as a single and twin setups.
unless you already have the 1512,s have a look at they 1415,s
slightly less $$$ slightly more watts and there 36mm cans so cooling jackets are easy to find (feigao etc).
they run the same rotor as the 1515,s
I do not have 2 neu 1512 I have 2 Aveox 36/30/1.5 motors they are 1980RPM and 4 pole motors I was told the 1512 was a copy of it and the rotor from the Aveox will fit the 1512. any way used the 1512 name becouse more poeple no neu than Aveox. So this would work then?? and what props would one use as there is not much to chose from in counter rotation. would 120 amp esc be good? or can I use 100amp??
I have 3 MM , I have one in Gas with a cmb 21 and one with a 9xl or 8xl I have both motors and I was thinking of a twin. any help would be nice

I have two 1515's I am thinking of putting in a second MM that I have. It currently has a single 540XL but it might be nice to upgrade the HP. The project is months off on the build despite the fact tht I have all the hardware. Spare time is the limiting factor. I will post the build when I have an opportunity to start the project.
I have built that boat with 9t 540xls , 447x left and right on 4s it does about 60mph or so. The MM runs light so put your motors up there as far as u can(a bit under the hood ..lol..) and it will need a turn fin or skegs to keep from spinning in turns ! Mine hit 75 mph on 6s but blew over 1/2 of the time before it got there.
