    Whic one would you choose?

Ive had a bj26 brushless for about 6months and ive had a few problems with is so want to try another boat, im new to rc boats so dont want to just buy a hull and try to make one from scratch so im after another rtr one that i can maybe tweak a little, ive got 3 in mind but which one would you guys in the know buy and why? My first trail of thought was get a sv27 and change the esc so i could run it on lipos and the other 2 options are these artr boats, also which lipos would you use with these, thanks

The hulls on the 2 from ebay look almost identical!

the ones from ebay you have to change esc's cause they suck and burn out on the first run

Buy a Delta Force 29" hull, and speedmaster strut and rudder, or cheaper yet, use the sv strut and rudder that can also be purchased here. Use the blackjack motor and esc, and you'll have an awesome running boat!

The trouble is I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to installing the the flexi shaft and stuffing box. I don't want to start drilling holes in a new hull and end up getting it wrong or not been able to keep the boat water tight. Plus my fiancé would kill me if I spent a load of cash on a boat and couldn't get it to work properly lol.

Try searching about it first, I was once in the same boat as you, now I am comfortable with doing this after some research. Out of those two boats, I like the first one better.

What kind of problems were you having with the BJ 26? Rolling? Both of your choices are monos which are WAY more forgiving.

I installed the nitro hardware on the bj and couldn't get it to run in a straight line plus since I chanced the esc, bought another stock one as the old one smelt of burning but worked ok, since I put the new one in it is melting my deans battery connections using nimh's. I'm just getting frustrated with it. I would prefer to get a boat with hardware installed and then fit my own motor and esc.

If you are looking for a fun stable mono hull, I *really* like my son's proboat fastech. Just need to adjust the trim tabs and stabilizer fins and she runs rock solid. It has the same motor and ESC as the blackjack, so you'd have some nice spare parts. It would be Lipo ready as well.

dont do it on the ebay boats. I just bought one that a lot of people have experience with and it came with a broken water outlet on the top of the rudder and a defective esc. You are better off just saving a little extra and buying a reputable boat from one of the major manufacturers like ProBoat, Aquacraft, MiniCatRacingUSA, OSE, ect.
