        that ESC has been use by people I know and they say it's smooth and when a fan is cooling it (adaptation), temps stay down.
        :::::::::::::::. It's NEVER fast enough! .:::::::::::::::

                The answer is yes with precautions. It is not conformal coated some very careful that it does not get wet. There also may not be enough volume of air inside the hull to adequately cool the esc over an entire run so test with short initial tests.

                  thats what i thought tyler. i only responded to ub hauled thread because he said people he knew said the spin runs cool with fan, assumed he meant in a boat because this is a boat forum. looking at ways to cool this esc as it seems to be pretty robust and i might do some substantial runs with it ( carefully !) cant find aluminum cooling blocks to fit it then saw on ose article on watercooling an aircraft esc with two tubes soldered to brass plate ( reminded me of the schulze 40.161 that i had to send back for repair after kiting my rigger ( $125 like you said ) will the brass tube to plate setup work with this spin 300 ?

                    Form the pic on Hydro and Marine, it looks like there is enough meat in the heat sink that you could cross drill and push in brass or aluminum tubing with some thermal paste.

                      hi tyler, pic on hydro and marine is a boat version some company sells. looks like they jam aluminum blocks between the fins with brass tubes inserted. jeti doesnt list a boat version on their website. my version is the one on esprit models .

                        hi there

                        sorry but i don't find this awesome ...

                        swordfish 300A pro + can handle from 300 to 380A under 15S for half the price
                        and it's fully waterproof ....

                          If you could machine some aluminum blocks with cooling passageways it would work, but trying a fan first is probably the easiest.

                          Herve, I don't believe Swordfishes ratings are very honest. I wouldnt trust an actual 300A power system with a that esc.

                            hello

                            in France some boater use them in big hull, such as Mystic 185
                            and they are really good

                            every 300A pro + , have a data logger, and first time you connect esc to PC
                            you can download data and curves , that came from factory testing (every swordfish esc are tested before shipping)

                            i have checked 6 esc, and they were all tested to over 13 kw (380A)

                              Jeti is making esc for Hacker and they are high end brand just like Schulze, MGM..., they been know by Hacker 77 esc, most robust brushless esc about 6-7 ago, my Hacker 77A and Jeti 99 can handle up to 140a cont with out any problem and they last forever, you will get what you paying for and no way SF can be in the same level with Jeti, after you burned your 1st SF or any unbranded esc and start getting the 2nd one then....you will notice its gonna be the same price with high end esc. =)
                              Btw, Jeti 300 have been out there for a while, at least 3-4 years.
