need some help with my setup

hey guys,

i`m still kind of a newb to boats, i`ve been running my micro scat cat with the following setup

feigao 11s 3,695 kv motor
2s 1500 20c lipo`s in parrallel
and a mystery 40A esc
also i will soon be running an octura x427 prop

i`ve had this kinda ghetto water cooling setup on the esc and the other day it fell apart. i`m convinced that it wasn't doing much, and i know that everyone is going to say that some sort of cooling is better than none at all. but im redoing the hull and i have the option of not doing water cooling, will i be safe running without it?

What about a little computer fan blowing on the esc and motor.

How hot is the esc getting after each run.

I think to be safe , like you said Screwball something is better then nothing.

thanks bonewar, the esc isnt really getting that hot but i have a little fan sitting here so ill try that and then i can always add cooling later

The fan will probably be good enough as long as there's a little hull volume to spare.
