    Need Lipo Help

Need some help guys. I bought this charger adaptor and was curious about some things on it. http://www.helidirect.com/maxpro-mul...s3s-p-9113.hdx

It plugs into the charge ports and balance ports of the charger. Will this adaptor charge and balance my lipos just by plugging the lipo battery balance plug into the adaptor?

It looks like it will but probably at a low amp rate ... safest way but takes a bit longer.

Just a bit or you think alot longer? If i was to charge 2 2s batteries would I set the charger up for 2s or 4s using this adaptor?

Hard to say with out the instructions but they look to be in series so I would say (4S) as it looks to be set up for 2,4,6 and 3,6 combinations.

This is the product descripiton: It supports 2 sets of 3S Lipo or 3 sets of 2S Lipo charging at one time, but the batteries capability must be samed and the IV shouldn't be very high.

What does the IV shouldn't be very high mean?!?

"I" is for current, "V" for voltage; that could be their way of stating that the adapter would probably melt-down at high mAh charge rates ???

Alright that makes alot of sense now... I wonder if 5amps is too much?!?!

I am no expert but I would say that it wouldn't be able to handle anything over 3amps, and then if you spit it up it would take a long time for your batteries to charge.

The route I went was to buy two chargers. They are getting cheaper and cheaper. And with lipos having almost zero maintenance compared to nimh you do not need all the fancy options if all you run is lipos.

I know it is only $6.00, might be worth a try.

Yea I have 2 chargers as well. I just was tryin to figure out how to charge maybe 4 batts (2 sets) at once. Like u said for $6 it might b an option. I really just need the balancing function.
