    Vac-U-Pickle

I have a Vac-U-Pickle Hydro would a NEU 1515/1Y be to much motor for that boat or would a UL-1 motor be better? I am not racing, but I like SPEED. Can you HELP me out PLEASE. OH by the way I am in a boating club, but I am the only electric boat in the club.

to much motor? not if you like speed! That motor moves larger boats into the 60mph range with ease! that little Pickle would fly!

Jay T used a 5XL to set a record in SAWS thats a pretty hot set up. a 7XL would be fast with a 40mm prop.

The 1515 would be a blast! I ran an 8xl on 4s2p, and that was even a rocket!

              I say do it Nova68...

I have a pickle with a Neu 1515/1y, but not put together yet. I have two other builds/conversions going on and haven't got to it yet.

I was told that it is too much motor for that hull, but I plan to do it because I already have the parts.

Please let us know how it goes...

yes it a lot of motor for that hull but that doesn't mean it cant be made to work.

A top fuel motor is to much for the size of the drag boats but they work......... sometimes they dont.

                  If you insist.

Run medium CA along the seams. Make sure you put some floatation in the hatch, and use good quality hatch tape!!!!

Having said that, the UL-1 motor is plenty of motor for that hull.

Good luck with the pickle, hang on!!!!
