Hey guys,

I would like to take this moment to stress the importance of racing.
FE attendance at events is at an all time low and we need to change that.

Fellas, if you enjoy playing with these things, you will love racing ten times over.
I started out on a low budget, and did fine with the support of club members who helped and supported me simply because of my strong desire to be a part of this sport.

Last weekend I raced the roger Hooks Grand Prix Classic and I will tell you gents it was the time of my LIFE!

The race went perfect until this pooch pissed all over the raffle prizes!
Randy also caught him pissing on the frequency clip stand LoL!!!

Yessir !! 100 % right on. Besides the enormous adrenaline high you get from racing, you accelerate your learning curve on setup by rubbing elbows (and sometimes hulls) with the seasoned racers, ALL of whom graciously and freely share their knowledge and experience. Best of all, you make some great friends.

One time at the wheel and I have been hooked for life. It was a fun week end, I will be setting up some FE races/fun runs for kaiser cove soon. Nice meeting you this weekend Chief!

Racing is where it's at. if you live near any clubs just get out there and say hi.

My first Love is building, But the satisfaction happens when the build is raced, A finish is great and a podium finish is better, but if all goes well a win makes it all worth while,. Nothing like 5-6 equal boats running head to head, now we're talking some knee shaking fun. Guys if you don't race you are really missing something, so put the GPS away and run a course, with other racers and see how fast you really are.

We are making gains here in WI for FE. My nitro only club in Racine has now given the go ahead for two FE classes in the race line up for this season... pending attendance of course. Fortunately my FE club in Madison has enough racers to make a couple of classes possible at the nitro events.
