I see but, the toughest fet there is the 8896, 30V @ 94A, all others fall below in amp load.

If an esc has a higher voltage rated Fet (of this style fet FDD) then current handling drops significantly.

This is why you will see a Suppo 80 amp HV. I can bet dollars to donuts its using the higher voltage 50 amp fets. Same 3 layers, just different fets and bigger caps to follow...

To get a higher voltage, higher current esc, you need to use more HV fets or(castle), larger case fets(Schulze, Turnigy Monster). Part #'s I have yet to discover.

I might, might peek, at the fets on my Monster 2000, that would mean void warranty and, hope I can resolder it all...

I need to take a closer look at my 100A esc, cuz the cap says 50V
I wonder if that sucker can take 10s or more?
I would love to try 10s in a new plane I picked up last weekend!

Thats why I only use Silicon conformal coating. Its like water, goes on with eye dropper. No problems so far.

It's only a last ditch thing for me anyway since its rare I get a boat soaked.

10S should be a quick and spectacular light show of pyrotechnics on the HiModel esc.

                                Can you say Smokin' !
