I just spoke to the machinist. The first proto was done, but the threaded area for the nipple was too thin. We are looking for appropriate material, where is we don't have to completely machine a cylinder. To cut down on machine time.

Whats 2 hours worth of machine time worth for each jacket? Probably more than people will want to pay. He thinks he found another supplier for different material.
I have another question. Will a jacket for a 15 size can motor with a 1.9" outside diameter be to large?
Just for reference, the Carbon Fiber cooling jackets that I here have the following dimensions:
Length = 2"
O.D. = 1.865"
I.D. = 1.750
These are for the smooth cans... not finned...
I'll e-mail you some more info...
Is it the one from Australia(Kuhler)? If not it has the same measurements. It will fit the finned case. You have to cut 2 or so lines down the fins for the water to flow. But it fits over the fins fine with about 1mm clearance all the way around. I had one one a 1509 F, it fit fine and looked good. But I dropped it (less than 3 feet) and broke one of the nipples off.
