    what is a good brushed motor for a boat ?

    i want a cheap brushed esc

    but one that can handle a fast brushed motor

    I guess i am unsure of the second part of your question..but cordite motors are really good for brushed...bby racing sells them i think..i do not think they are the cheapest but you do get what u pay for when it comes to rc boating

        Proboat make some decent esc's that are waterproof and will go to 30A for one type and 60A for the bigger blue one. It has been a while since I have run brushed in a fast boat so I may be a little rusty.

        What have you got and what do you want/expect from it ?
        BL is so affordable these days it make the hassle of brushed redundant.

        Let us know what you have and want.
        Hull ?
        Prop ?
        Batteries ?
        Performance requirements ?
        See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

          Look for an RC hydros ESC. Probably the best waterproof brushed ESC made. You can find them from time to time used in the swap shop.
