hyper bullet drive mods

i have a hyperformance bullet drive and wondering if there is any mods or more blue printing i should do,mainly the skeg.
a few questions i have are
how sharp should the skeg be ?
does the trailing edge of the skeg need to be sqaure like a rudder ?
should i thin the skeg at all ?
keep in mind this is a sport boat not looking to break records.

Sharpen the leading edge of the skeg but it doesn't have to be sharp enough to cut paper! Leave the trailing edge square.
