Eagle Tree data on Proboat A3650-1500 motor

I needed to dial in my Titan 29 for 4 + min LSO racing, so I did an Eagle Tree 3 min (to initially be on the consertavive side) run to look into some parameters, particularly mah consumption. Got some unexpected results. Not exactly sure what to make of them other than that the setup seems good to go mah consumption-wise. Won't be the fastest rig in the race, but in LSO anything can happen ! Setup:

    Titan 29
Proboat 3650-1500 watercooled/fan cooled [fan draws .4 amps]
CC Barracuda 80 watercooled, big caps, heavier guage batt leads, timing 11 degrees advance
    Turnigy 4S2P 30C 3600
    Hub-cut X442

    average amps : @ 80
    average watts : @1100
used total of 3600 mah for 3 min on-throttle [ straight-line extrapolated to 5616 for 4.5 min with 7200 mah on board - [likely not a straight-line function but it'll do]

    left y-axis : Amps [purple]
    right y-axis : watts [yellow]

Amp & Watt data more than I expected, although everything came in reasonably cool-nowhere near the danger zone.

I'm too computer challanged to download graph, hence the jpg

So far, very impressed with this motor !

Won't be the fastest?? At that amperage?? I bet you will! Looks good.

It's interesting how the amp draw continues a downward trend throughout the run. Maybe the water was getting chopped up, helping the boat air out more.

I'm not sure of my speed, but I've got it to where I'm using just under 1000 mah's per minute with my setup. NS-3, X 445 that's been shaved down to 44 mm and backcut. I'm surprised you're seeing that much amp draw w/an X442. Maybe your boat is a tad heavier than mine.
My amp draw average is just under 60. But, I may have a few changes to my setup before WW VI.

David, thanks for the feedback Yup, the Titan's a bit portly (partial pun) especially with the 2 4S 3600's but I figured I needed the headroom and it seems I guessed right. She does run rather wet, even with the CG set to allow a slight nose-up takeoff in the rough. I'm going to de-tounge the X442 a tad to free up the draw some, I guess. Next on the bench is the DF 33. Too much draw for P-Offshore with the 1521 1.5D based on replacement charges. Will quickchange a 1515 1Y P-Offshore motor Friday night for the D to run P-Mono Sat & Sunday.
      Then : lookout !!
