Wanted to share one of my newest builds, JAE .21

Hi everyone...amongst work, relationship, exercise, and 4 boat builds going on..I wanted to share One of them. Also over on Rumrunner. My FE jae .21. It is based on the jae .12 that was enlarged , before the .21 was being produced...its been built for several months but just finished the paint 3 days ago. (clear coat is still drying)
Hull is about 33" long and sponsons are about 17" wide. Tub holds a turnigy 5000mah 4s perfectly and the neu/castle 1515 1y fits well...I slid the cooling jacket on last night and it fits, very close but it fits. Paint is Duplicolor enamel, and duplicolor clear. I have a plug made for glass, bubble cowl's that clear the neu motors but just need some warm enough weather to use the gelcoat....a high of 47 here in Oregon is not going to cut it. (which is why the cowl is not pictured)

Should get it wet in about 2-3 weeks.

Thanks and any suggestions comments, feel free to fire away!

Thanks. yeah, it should move! I really like the turnigy 120a escs which is going in here. props I have had great success with this on this size rigger and decked hydro are the s220 and 1445. It should rip! Haven't weighed it yet, but when I get all of the equipment I will post a ready to run weight. I am going for 17oz or less at the prop...we will see if I can do that. I know the keps .21 need a light rear end, the jae...might be a different story. I also plan on using two rear sponsons...instead of the single ski. The single ski I have found, makes the rear end too light, almost too little drag and slightest chop from running with other boats makes the it want to jump quite a bit. Can't wait to test the castle/neu motor with new cooling jacket.

The JAE design is set up to run a 60/40 front to rear weight split. They like lots of weight on the back end.

Thanks for the tip on the weight balance of the jae, Brian. I've been meaning to call you in the next few days, to talk about some other build/motor combos, and to see when you will be testing down in Eugene.
