    Filler Question

Oh guys. What do you use for filler on hulls. I need somthing that bonds to abs and can be sanded with a decent work time. I had thought about 5200 but it is a bit extream IMO. Not to mention heavy & expensive. Options please?
    Thanks :)

spect that if you had some MEK that you could desolve some abs pipe...or buy some abs pipe cement :). bondo has been mentioned a time or 3(dunno how well it sticks to abs tho)
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in

      Thanks Rex :)
I have the abs pipe cement. I had thought about it for gluing but I have quite a gap or 3 to fill. Bondo had crossed my mind. I hoped some one had tryed it on plastic. I may take a shot @ the 5200 if I can fine a small tube.

Epoxy and cabisil or collidal silica. Mix a slurry paste... etc...

I have tried bondo on abs before it seems to stick well. but now i just heat and press the abs into shape if has any imperfections.
you can also use epoxy and micro ballons. some guys in the club, use automotive glazing/spot putty which seems to work well.
