New Project Time

Well i have the itch to start yet another project. My current boats are...

1. BJ26-currently a project
2. BBy war zone jr- currently a project
3. Offshore warrior
4. ABC Jet ski- awaiting brushless system
5. Sk daddle too


I have noticed most of my boats are small. I run them on lake coeur d alene in idaho. Its a larger lake compared to ponds people usually run in. About 30 miles long and maybe 3 wide. I run in a bay, but in the summer it can get somewhat choppy unless i run in the morning or at like 8pm. I want something that i can run without having to play fetch all the time like i did with my old shockwave 36. That hull did suckfor handling though.

Anyways enough background. I have been looking at a few boats.
1. HOR 32" cat
2. Skunkworks 32" cat
3. 26-29-33 DF or copy.

I really have grown to like the cats lately. I would like to do a dual drive, but too much $$ at the moment. I have seen a few used DF or copy boats for around 200 with hardware which isnt too bad. If i went with the HOR i would buy the one with hardware esc and motor and upgrade from there when it is needed. I have a feeling if i got a skunkworks i would be broke.

Any recommendation on what boat to buy for a little rougher water? I will probably put a wanted thread in the buy and sell forum also.

Take a look at the Delta Force Cyber Storm. Deeper vee just like it's bigger brother the Sniper! The regular DF has a pretty shallow vee.

Here's mine set up with a Neu 1515, Etti 150A, Stinger was from Fullers and the rest from OSE with the custom motor mount from Peter Zicha.
