    hydra 240 question

I'm going to run 5s2p on a hydra 240. Is it ok to solder a bullet connector to each of the 4 battery leads? Not sure if it would cause any problems, just want to be safe. Plus it's easier than making little adapters.

Well, if you solder your pos, and neg leads together at some point from esc to connectors it is ok but not seperate like you were thinking

I think I may do that. remove some shrink say midway and soldering them together while leaving the ends seperate for connectors.

do it as close to the speedo as you feel safe use some strands of wire to wrap around both wires or some thin copper strips not to much thow give them a good solder and heat shrink and your good to go

Thats how I do it too. This makes it easy to run your batteries in parallel. I cross over the 2 wires as close to the controller as I can and this gives you a littler length to makes it easier to connect all your batteries together.

Yes sir, and there is more than one thread here about the subject.
