So what is a good all around heli for less than $100.00

My kid will be frying it, I mean flying it so I would like something that can be repaired...

    Thanks

Learning helis involves lots of crashing. Durability and parts availability is the #1 consideration. In my opinion the Blade mCX2 RTF [$119] fits this perfectly. The included Spectrum DSM2 Tx has a 1/2 dual rate setting to make initial flights easier, and can be used for the next-step Blades like the MSR & SR120 which can be purchased minus the Tx [BNF]. If you can find a mCX S300 [same as the mCX2 except for canopy] they're sub $ 100.

LOL...before getting into RC Boating, I didn't realize, aside of my wife, I would need something during the winter to occupy my time!

And since I moved to the frozen tundra here in Edmonton, Canada from Vancouver (don't ask me why)...micro helis have been the ticket :) And on the days that its not -20C, my E-maxx's with paddle tires are fun as well

But for the newb heli pilots...a co-axial heli like the MCX/MCX2s from E-flite are your best bet. Your local hobby store should stock tonnes of parts when you crash...but when you get bored of the speed of the MCX/mCX2...move up to a Blade MSR or a walkera CB100
