    New balancer.....New batterys....

OK, I've got some new lipo packs. And I am lost on how to balance them....

They are 4s1p, and I have the proper balancer for them....Just not sure how it works.

Looks like I plug the balancer inline between the charger and battery? And just let her rip????

I would think the balancer would maybe regulate the power so the cells balance out? Thats it's job right....

Or do I maybe plug the balancer in after the pack is done charging and let it balance out the pack at the 180Mah it says it balance's at?

I am using a Triton 2 charger and a Chinese DualSky PCM pro Balancer. Thanks..I'm a little confused and don't wanna burn my house down with lipos..... Could somebody please explain this to me?!

Did it come with a manual. I am not familiar with that one.

No it sure did not....UH.com does not like to include manuals with anything. Thats why I was thinking maybe someone had the non-generic one so I could rob some info from their directions :D

Or thaught maybe someone just knew what the story was.....

The rumrunner boys helped me out. Thanks anyway guys.

It operates inline with the charger to balance the pack charging at up to 5 amps.

Or, you can simply charge the pack, then plug this balancer into the pack and it wil balance the cells @ 180Mah discharge.

I plan to only really use it when charging, as to make sure I don't over charge the pack. Not a bad deal for 20$. It's a cheap chinese lipo balancer to go with my cheap chinese lipo packs :D

Actually, when I got mine they where only 15$

If you are concerned about overcharging your packs - use a quality charger. Why would you think that a $15 chineese knock-off balancer would protect your LiPo investment better than a good charger? I'd trust the Triton2 myself, and use the balancer to level off the packs before the charge cycle. Buy cheap, take a risk - it's your money.

I never thaught it would protect it better than a good charger, I am just trying to spread things around and it seems a few people on the UH.com site are having good luck with it, so I decided to try it.

As of right now, it seems to work well. It is IDENTICAL to the Dualsky PCM-PRO balancer....Just without the name.

The battery's where cheap, the balancer was cheap. If it does'nt work out, I guess i'm not out much. O yeah, and we have homeowners insurance!
