You'll love it! I havent been to wram, but our little airplane club here in northern michigan has a huge show every year on the 4th of july. tons of sponsored pros show up and do some insane stunts and flying. The 3d helis will blow your mind!!

The WRAM Show is a trade show, not a flying event. I went to a lot of them as a kid, and I've gone to almost all of them since the 1990's (last year I missed due to moving here, and I doubt I'll go this year).

But you'll still love it. Bring you camera - they have some superbly detailed models (cars, boats, & planes) to look at.

Bring a bunch of cash, too. You'll want it for buying, as a lot of the vendors have show specials. The tool guy downstairs is always a big hit.

And you'll see stuff you didn't know existed.

You'll also want your wallet for parking. Save yourself a few bucks by ordering your admission ticket NOW instead of buying when you get there. And if the weather is bad, GO ANYWAY! The show will still be open and if people stay away it makes it easier to get around.

You NEED to go to Toledo. WRAMS is like Toledo, just smaller.

No problem. Friday is the best day to go as a lot of folks are still at work. The Friday crowd is the retired guys and the ones who know not to go on Saturday (or think it's a better use of a vacation day than one in the summer). Saturday is usually a madhouse. Sunday all the vendors are pooped and we just want to go home.

One year the office was closed due to a snow storm. I didn't let it stop me from the show - nobody was on the interstates so driving wasn't bad at all :)

If your going for boats AeroMarine is normally there with a nice display. But not sure if he's going this year. Fine Design is also normally there.
