my end of boating for awhile

well it looks like my boating has ended for awhile
sold my cyberstorm and brought a xzess III. put countless hours of work in to it and all my holiday pay.
in the process of running the boat (about 1 minute total) i managed to kill 3 esc,s the last one burning a hole threw the hull.also killed my mr3000 marine reciever from a faulty ubec.not sure if the new castle/neu motor i brought for it is okay or the rx as things got rather hot..
maybe a few months before i can replace some gear to get my meanmachine going.

Ozzie not many people know the whole story like I do and I feel for you.
Don't let it get you down.
I am going to tell you something I was not going to make public. You know I purchased a Spektrum DX3S radio system. I used it two times and went to use it again and it is dead. Nothing on the transmitter screen at all. I find sometimes I turn it on and it works and sometimes it does not. Now there is nothing.
Next thing is PayPal. I sold all my 36 MHz receivers on eBay. Now some prick says he did not get 2 in the mail that he purchased from me and PayPal have taken the money he paid for them from my account. This prick looks like getting his money back and the 2 receivers for free. I sent them normal mail so I have no proof of posting them so more fool me and I am not happy.
Mate my point is that life sh*ts on us many times but don't loose your love for the hobby. A lot of people here think I am just an a-hole but they do not know what goes on in my life. Anyway this is about you and not me.
Can you email me a picture of the hull damage?
Several boats in various stages of destruction

no photos at the moment my phone died last week.
shouldnt complain but its taken me 3 years to get what gear i have and in less than a week its put me back about 18 months.
the damage to the hull is easy fixed, will have to fix and sell just to get my MM going.here is what it looked like tho i changed a few things

yes it can get that way chasing speed, when i first got back in to fe and running brushless/lipo it was a steep learning curve, thought i had things sorted,my boats have been ultra reliable till the speed bug started again. i will fix the xzess III and hopfully get enough to buy a vs-1 hull and set it up like p spec tho this will be a few months. live and let learn. having nothing to run for the next few months is going to be the bugger, still things could be worse.

Been, seen and done the speed bug here Scott.
As you know I have smoked a few speedies and packs in my quest for speed.
It is easy to read about the other guy doing it and it can even make you laugh a bit, but when it happens in front of you it is not that cool at all......I know.

You can sell that hull as is.
Anyone who buys that hull should be prepared to and know how to repair it. Otherwise they should not have a fast rigger.

Someone may really want it but want it clean so you can offer it repaired.

4 years in composite engineering for a few airlines makes me want to do the repair myself

                      Your hull and your call,
                      See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

Ouch, she is a lil worse for wear..

Clean it up, fibre glass, paint, sanding, she'll be sweet.
Im sure that in your head you know its a easy repair, but your just sick of putting hours n hours into it huh..
