Yes by all means call it the same, this cat i got from you is still "Kevins Cat", so you may as well name it Koenigsegg again
By the way, i still havnt got props, i kinda figured it might be a little slow at this time of the year, they must be 100mph at the post office! They should turn up soon
I think you should start a build thread, im sure everyone would agreeComment

Kevin, make sure you make your window material really thick!
The stuff you used on Koenigsegg # 1 was very thin and not flexable at all.
I wasnt goin to tell you until i had her 100% again, for fear you would cry, but she lifted off at about 65 -70 mph about 2 weeks ago after countless runs without it happening.
Anyway the boats 100% fine, but the window material you used shattered and as a result of this became the hatch's weak point and it ripped it apart.
I was so devistated, but at the same time happy because atleast the boat was fine. All my Hardware was fine also, it was in a fresh water lake and where it took flight i was able to swim to it as it was right in front of me. Probably had it back on land in 20 seconds, very lucky!!!. Done all the nessasary precaution steps, and then did a start up check 2 days later, all is good..
Already ordered a new hatch from Hanspeter, saids he sent me some really thick material for the window. Should see it within a few days. I havnt touched the original one yet, im going to make it exactly the same. Down to the last sticker!
Getting it sprayed where my ol'mans friend has his bentley repaired, so that the colour is 99%.
You know ill look after her!!
Anyways, please use something good, id hate for it to happen to your new beauty Koenigsegg # 2.
Would you like me to post a pic, or will this hurt to much?Comment
-
Omg Ryan, its hurt but i still want to see pic of it, btw, this cat, i didnt cut the whole window out like your Koenigsegg, i think you should do the same with your new hatch since we dont need the see through glass, just making the frame look nice, scews it in, its will get stronger this way.
I love my job on your hatch alot, so.... nothing mess up at all beside the hatch?
you can look for those sticker somewhere like, google shop, Ebay...etc, i will start looking and send you those link, remember use the same size window screws, get black if you can find them, and the pain code is from 2006 Jaguar S type R, they only make once gray color for this model, call Jaguar dealer if needed. I hope all the scoops are fine, if not you can get the middle one from Hanspeter and two sides from MHZ item number: m1788/2
after all, i mean.....ought..... this is a hard lesson for us Ryan.Last edited by kevinlew211; 12-24-2009, 04:25 AM.Comment
