    Too many rpm's?

I was thinking about putting a figaro 540 that is 2779 kv in my new boat project. I was planning on using a 11.1v lipo on a direct drive flex shaft. That will give me over 30,000 rpm's under no load. My question is that too many rpm's for a prop to work properly in the water? thanks

not really but to get a real answer it would help if you told what hull motor esc prop etc you are planing on running
and speed verses run time you would like

Yeah I have to ask what hull ? I have that 6xl running in a rigger with a modded x646 prop and hydra 240, 4s . The props is modded to reduce load but this set up WILL blow the motor or esc sooner or later but the rigger runs real dry and temps are not over 150 deg F. Speeds in oval trim @ 70 mph + & 2 min run time, Just!! This motor is HOT and we need to know more. On 3 s (11.1) it is a reliable if not fast motor. So0 after my pissed diatribe what hull, what packs, what Esc ?

The hull i have is a stepped hull catamaran that was given to me that use to be a nitro boat that i decided to go brushless on, its about 35 inches. I was planning on using a himodel 200amp 3-7s esc. I am not too sure what prop i will be running i figured that would be figured out with trial and error.
