You can get 4 oz bottles here. You will probably need to mix the color you want but it can be done with 3 colors - green, blue, and white.

              Jim,
I'm anxious to find a replacement for my automotive paints. I want something safe(health-wise), cheap and offered in a million colors. Keep us posted on your finds. Thanks
What air brush do you use for larger spraying areas?

Createx paints are made to be used on fabric. There is however water-based/waterborne paints made for hard surfaces. Auto-Air, Wicked, Faskolor, Goldens, and Etac are a few. Go to Airbrush.com and do a search for water based auto paint or hard surface paint and search terms that are similar.

Our local Hobbytown sells House of Color paint, and they are Waterbase paints witch is less toxic for you and the enviroment. The only thing I dont like about Waterbase paint is it takes forever to dry.

Jim I am paint tech at a local Collision shop, If your desperate, you can send me a sample of the color you need, and i can colormap it and mix you up some paint. Sikkens is a Europeon paint company thats been in business forever, and is just as good if not better than PPG or Dupont.

I have used Auto Air colors on boats, I sprayed them using touch up guns then used air brush for other work.

Are Auto air available in smaller quantities? I guess you would need to mix your own colors?

I use Createx paints for airbrushing with a dayton airbrush, then when I'm happy with art, I clearcoat it all. If I'm not happy, I wipe it all off with a damp rag...even after it has sat all night! Great Stuff!

These paints look interesting, but they may not have the color you need.

Yes - you can get them in 4 oz bottles.
Here are a couple of places to get them - I chose one on each coast but there are others and a local jobber may have them as well.

PPG also has a line of waterborne paints but the cost is about double.
