Should work fine, I use a balance board with my iCharger 106B+ to charge 2 packs in series with no problems. Himodel or progressiverc in the US sells them and the balance ports look the same as the Imax charger. I like the boards because you can charge the cells in series using the rows (2s, 2s1, 2s2. 3s, 3s1, etc) or in parallel using the columns (2s,3s,4s,5s,6s, etc).

Here is the link http://www.himodel.com/sort.php?sub2=GU. The boards you use are the ones for the 1010B+ and depends on the type of plug you have on you batteries. Cut off the last 2 wires starting from the positive side and that part of the plug since it will fit up to a 10s port to fit your charger and plug it in to the 8s port. Also when you hook up your batteries to the charger wires and balance board MAKE SURE the negative battery lead that is plugged into the charger becomes the first balance plug you use for that battery or you will short out the balance plug wires and fry them. I'll try taking a picture if its not clear.

It's hard to tell who REALLY makes that charger. A LOT of companies sell it but have the color and labels and nomenclature changed by the manufacturer to make it look like it's their own. This is a common industry practice.

This charger is just fine!! Works OK. As Steven said though, repairs have to be sent back to China. With the cost of shipping, it's not worth it. So if you want to buy it, go ahead but be prepared to throw it away if it quits.

Power supply? Only necessary if you don't have a 12V battery to hook up to.
