As far as I know its pretty new. A overseas company just offered it to me with a promotion to include the hard carrying case with my first order. I declined for repair reasons.

i sore one on ebay the other day brand new for $80 shipped... i need a new charger too, think they will properly balance a lipo etc? I've got some fairly expensive lipo's i don't wanna ruin

the one i sore is 12v input only i think.

Hobby King have been selling chargers like this for a long time http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...rger_1-8_Cells Needs a power supply though. I have been using the higher wattage, mains power chargers from them for a long time with No problems and inbuilt balance ports is a must

I think ill get myself one, i just was concerned about it leaving my packs out of balance, does anybody have a link to a good balancer that i can use to check my cells after charging with this, say up to 6s? or 8s?

I have a questio : If I want to charge two batteries 3S in serial do I need a balance adapter? Thanks
