I allways used the after run oil from the LHS. I think wd40 may not be all that good for nitro motors.

Any time. I maybe mistaken but I think wd40 is not good for seals orings or gaskets...It's been a verry long time since I have run nitro.

actually wd40 is good to flush out the oils and water after you are fin ished running..just spray in the carb as you pull on pull start or on the belt with the glow plug out..than spray some in the cooling lines so it will coat the head bolts and spray ubtil it comes out the rudder..than put in automatic transmission fluid or hydraulic fluid and repeat the pulling or belt start to move it around and than your good to go..i still run my nitro 45 outrigger.im a member of a nitro club and a scale electric club also..

Over time wd40 will break down the rubber seals in the motors. Use the ARO!

I don't run gas or nitro, so I can't advise on it. But I have been to Dirtys club races, and all the members seem to do it the way he describes, including the club pres. All those people can't possibly be wrong can they??
Although I do prefer 3in1 over Wd40 as a general purpose lube.

wow nitro I forget what they sound like. I never even started or pulled on the pull start in my miss vegas boat just pulled the motor stuck a piece of tape over the carb and stuffed it in the closet.
