I lost a brand new 440/3 prop with that bullet nut. Never lost a prop on the fiber locknut.

If you absolutely HAVE to use a bullet nut, Use Loctite. They do not lock in.

It looks good. You can can calm down the sensitivity of the steering a bit by grinding off that skeg on the strut. I found my Bj was easer to turn after I got rid of the skeg strut. You know ya have enough room on the motor can to add another water jacket or heat sink and fan. You may want to look into that. I got my setup from 3Racing. Other than thoude couple things it looks like you have it set up good. Thanks for the vids:).

then what do you do when you want to change a prop or you ding it and need a new one or re- balance or to sharpen it for the next race?

Funny how things happen to some guys and not others. I have run bullet tipped nuts since day one. Never had one back off. Luck of the draw I supose.
