i have this 8XL feigao and i took it out of my boat, i was turning the shaft with my hand and i noticed that it makes like a really weird nosie when i turn it kind sounds almost like a grinding sound what does that mean what could it be??

could it be the stock bearing should i upgrade it to the better one from ofe?? and if so i need some instructions on replacing it i looked on the tips from offshore electircs and it seems that the link isnt working -

ooo ok probably from the sand cus i live in florida lol sand everywhere but is it a good idea to change to those ceramic bearings and if i do how do i do that cus the link on OFE isnt workingComment
