    anyone know how to program a cc80 for 5s lipo??

      yes i ordered one But i will be able to program voltage cut off for 5s for sure right?? and what is the cut of for 5s??

        Here is a screen shot of the castle link software that shows all the user settings. for 5s I would recommend a cutoff of 16 and 16.5 V.

          well i just came back fomr running my titan and i used the cc80 with 16 nimh and the srink rap melted i think its time for me to switch it and get a hydra 120

              niope one more question for my titan with 9 xl iv got a regualr servo in there that was 8.99$ its a hitec standard servo but i can seem to turn left with the boat does that mean i need a hi torque servo??

                  The cc80 probally can not handle the current draw of the 8XL on 5s LiPo. Can you turn left and right when the boat is not in the water.

                      NB, What prop are you using for the 8xl? Do you have a gear drive?

                          Hmmmm.....Not sure how that prop is gonna work out for ya. I am getting a 9xl here soon, and I am being told to run SMALL props on 18 cells. Like the x438, x440, and the six series of props.

                          IMO I would think that would draw a lot of amps unless you only used 12 cells o14 maybe.

                          Maybe someone else can chime in on this. I would think a 8xl would fry a cc80 unless setup perfectly.

                            well it did fry the cc80 so i have ordered a hydra120 and i think a prather 215 is great its a very small prop and great pitch
