Silicon Water Jacket on Vented Motor

I have a brushed motor - which has the vents around the can. Is it possible to put a silicon water jacket on it? The motor does not have a torque ring on it.

Trying to put a better motor in my surfer....

I would use the alum wrap coil style for that but if you already have the silcone ring then go get some big shrink tubing and shrink the can where the cooler will be and then mount it. I would also silcone around the cooler so you have no leaks.

This will end up probably not being cooler than the cooling ring style since the rubber from the shrink will insulate as well.

If you can put brush coolers on it that would really help as well.

that's not a problem . The jacket comes with a piece of shrink wrap for vented motors . install the shrink and then install the jacket
