    Lehner vs Neu

Hi, my plan of a hpr06 with twin lehner 1950/7's has been trashed... i cracked the frame on my santa cruz bike and need cash to repair/replace that so i was doing some sum's and i can get two Neu 1521 or 1527 for the same price as one Lehner 1950/7... all this in (£ sterling)

i have the boat esc's just need motors and battery's - The Neu 1521 1.5d is 69rpm per volt more than the Lehner 1950/7... the Neu is 2mm longer, the Lehner is also 2 pole while the Neu is 4 would i be disappointed if i got the Neu's over the Lehners or are they the same / Neu's better?

I was planning to run on 6s with octura x447's or Propshop 4217/3's i have 2 As26-150Bl's which are amazing quality controllers in my opinion (150amp constant 250 burst) < would they be up to standard for the Neu... im pretty sure they would but i honestly cant afford to dry anything

i have also posted about using 1527 (1500kv) on 6s but i think this is probably overkill looking at it now...

    any help appreciated thanks.

WOW... a cracked Santa Cruz is going to cost you a pretty penny to fix... anyway,
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the NEU motors, doesn't the german Achim have a
200 km/h Cat powered by NEU motors?
The 1521/1.5D is a power house, but at 42k+ rpm you'll probably need a little more ESC to hold the amps that it'll suck form the batteries, being a "D" wind, it likes amps. What are you trying to achieve? Just straight out speed or do you want to run around a bit?

85Mph would be nice... not really any one to race around here do have a big lake... basically want to blow all the gas / nitro boats here away FE hasn't taken off in Northern England...

The cruz is my baby... all bikes break tho i think i paid in late 2008 for the 2009 frame about £1100 then + accessorys im looking at £3000+ of bike bits with no frame such a shame when this is the best time of the year for riding!! looking at the Cannondale Moto carbon 1 anyway but belive it or not i know some 1 who has cracked the frame on that... ($8000+ bike)

I have seen the esc run a lehner 3060 in a saw set up when i was in Germany once...

Would be ordering from Usa but have a 'contact' in Miami which can ship me most things to the Uk aswell as take them back

a pair of 1521's will take you close to 85 mph, not sure if it'll get there, but it just might... the hull is the 1,15m right? Is it glass or CF?
