Flex Cable size for a 26 inch?

I got a 26 inch abs v hull off of ebay. It came with Octura hardware with an .098 cable. Think the cable size be good enough for the boat depending on the motor size I get?

I would go with a larger size cable. Depending on the motor choice min a .130 but preferably a .150 cable for brushless setups. I would get the .150 cable myself.

I see. The boat came with an Octura Strudder. The rudder is 3 inch. And the shaft is 1/8 for the strut. Wonder if I can find a larger cable that would fit that strut without having to buy a whole new one.

I would just purchase a new one. Check the swap shop. There are deals popping up there all the time. Or you can put a WTB (Want To Buy) request. You might find what you need very cheaply.
