IMO the UL-1 is the better buy.
You guys let me know when your ready. I'll set up the clock and video tape the shootout.

      See ya at the pond!!

Detox, I almost didn't recognize you with that new avatar; new car???.

I have both boats, but I have not finished the Vac-U-Pickle as yet. It will have a 1515/1y. So I guess I cannot comment on it yet.

My UL-1 runs very good. Consistent 51+mph (stock). I will admit that it gets a bit squirrelly in choppy water, but if you watch closely you can control it. I have learned that you need to know when to get out of it and drive.

I have high hopes for a bit more control and some more HP with the VuP. I guess we will see.

Doby, would love to run on your pond if it wasn't in the Northwest Passage. Do you have to dodge ice burgs? LOL , just kidding...

                  You guys crack me up...

No Iceburgs yet,,,Ice cubes perhaps......two years ago we were able to run on the 3rd weekend of January,,my SV came back after 4 minutes of running with a thin sheet of ice on the deck! I figured at that point, it was time to stop for the season.......three days later everything was frozen solid.
