nice looking hull, you did a great job.
Go for a m442, that will give you the best run time, or a m440/3.
A tip for you, Run a bead of silicon around the inside edge of the hatch opening and all around the bottom of the threads, then soup up the lip of the hatch and press it down into the silicon. Leave it for 5mins or so then remove the hatch and let the silcon set. This will help stop water from leaking into the hull.
...cheers mate. Credit has to goto someone else for building the hull. All ive done is stripped it down, re-installed all electrics and hardware and added some decals.
I need some help with my cat. First time out on the water running 2x 2s 5000mha 7.4 batteries, nemesis 9xl, 120 hydra and x445 prop, i can not get the cat to wot without if flipping over. I approach wot and it want to fly. Water was relatively calm. What can i try???
...heres a pic of the hardware. Ive included a pic of the inside of the boat in the first post along with the other photos. Batteries have been moved forward approx 50mm but the lifting is still there.
Make sure the strut is inline with the bottom of the hull. Yours looks like it is angled upward. This will make the bow ride higher, thus the blow overs.
Dom...from the two pics it looks like my strut is heaps lower than your one
Keep the bottom of your strut level with the bottom of the sponson. 0 degrees angle. Then start your adjustments from there. Just a little bit at a time.
