    #1

    Well....

...the OM21 is still out of commission....with school and all I dont have much free time or money to spend....and the amount i do have, its spend on my mountain bike (its still my #1 hobby).....But I feel like its time to get back to the boat again....at the moment, the only thing i need to buy is a new driveline (flex shaft/propshaft, prop, drive dog, prop nut), and then just re-mount everything....as well as add a little lead wight to keep it from going airborn....

not to mention i now have another prospective build....a friend who was trading some RC car stuff picked up a boat hull for free, knowing i would want to do something with it.....he said its pretty light and my 8S should push it.....

this is what he gave me o_O

Its a ~44" gasser mono hull.....Speed World Sonic 44 is what the tag says on the inside....im sure the 8S will push it (about 40 feet before it blows and everything goes up in smoke)

Its already got the stringers set up for the gas engine (even the hatch is cut out), yet the transom is untouched and theirs no mounting holes in the stringers, so its a brand new (if not a little old) hull....

Its got a few knicks on the rear corners of the hull, but not anywhere vital, and not something that cant be patched up....

Still, this is destined for a gas motor, not electric.....it wont be worked on for a while though....i still need to get the electric build going first....

but for anyone who does have some gasser experience, what could this be set up with?
