    80" 36lb Catamaran

A friend of mine made from scratch a 80" catamaran weighing 36lbs and he tried to power it with twin Zenoah's. After quite some tests he dropped the project and bought a Mystic...

He has the hull now as a shelf queen. He removed some weight but not much and he is looking for an electric alternative to power the older hull. How about this setup?

    2 X http://www.scorpionsystem.com/catalo...0/HK-4035-800/

    2 X 200A HV ESCs

    2 X 10S2P Lipos

He is not expecting extreme speeds, I think 50mph will suffice...

    The big Q now,

Is is feasible? Will it be reliable?

    Thanks!!!

Mike I am geting ready to put one of those motors in a 41" cat and been doing alot of research on that motor.....I think that list of parts would make a torque rod for sure

Thanks a lot for the response!!!

The poor guy started it from scratch and tried two zenoah's which merely moved the boat. After many tries he decided to get a mystic hull from MHZ(half the weight) and left his creation on the shelf (arguably quite a big shelf). I took the initiative to research for him, he has no knowledge of FE whatsoever, and try to get him a reliable setup to get it up and running that wouldn't cost a fortune. Good thing is that he is not into top speed, more of scale speed...

My feeling is that this setup will get the hull move...
