OSE 700SC Super on 20 Cell

Hi all can anyone see any issues with this? I've ran the boat well on 16 Cell with no overheating issues everything stayed cool, I've just ordered two 10 Cell packs which is probably a ridiculous idea but can anyone see any issues I might get?

please take a video of this ! haha

I used to run 15-16 cells quite a lot when I was messing with 700 boats, 20 does sound fun!

20 cells will probably destroy it.

I'll be recording it in full HD!! lol

What do you mean by destroy it? you got me worried now!! the 700sc is way more efficient than the 700 graupner I had previously.. motor cooked on that one... but this one stayed cold on 16cell... whats an extra 4 cell going to do eh?? haha

The 700sc is a better motor than the Graupner 700bb, but at 20 cells, the heat will build up quick, once it builds up enough the coating on the wires will burn off and than the resistance will go much higher and make the motor useless.

With that much voltage the internal fan will most likely melt and the motor probably fry a few seconds later. Keep the runs very short if you want any life from the motor.

Will just try it on short bursts or not bush it too hard, just hope it will go fast enough I'm going to be racing another NQD Highwind with some kind of brushless setup connected to a 18V Drill Battery.

                    Any guesses on speed?

This is me boat a while ago on 16cell :) nothing got hot at all was shocked... will approach 20Cell with caution.

Which model number? Maybe the 2327.42? If so I would try a 2317.45 with the 16 cells. i find on mono style hulls that the 2327 props are not efficient.

                            Hey yea sorry, I'm using a G2327.42
hmm you got me thinking, will check when I get home if I've got a 2317.45, I did buy a few props a while back.

                            Cheers for the tip Steven

Do you guys think this thing will go 30mph ish with what I'm doing?

On 16 cells and a 2317.42 or 45, the Cen Racing Grey thunder used to run in the 30 range.
