    Aquacraft EP1 Outboard

    Has anyone worked with this? I want to build an FE OPC boat and looking for a good setup.

    I wouldn't recommend this outboard for a competitive OPC tunnel. There are several reasons, but the one that immediately comes to mind is that the stub shaft is only 3mm, and you simply can't get a decent sized prop on the thing because of the cav plate distance...

    If you really want a nice setup, look into the Hyperformance RC "Bullet Drive".... You can get it complete with FE Motor adapter... It's an excellent unit.

      Is application for racing or for sport running? For sport running, you can get away with the EP1, for racing, you might want to invest in either a REK lower or hyperperformance lower. This are flexshaft driven, made for brushless, and good props. Whereas the EP1 is a shaft and gear driven. Speed is it's limitation, other than breaking gears constantly. ALthough the EP1 is great for scale application.
