What would be the correct terminology for a 2s in series with 2 3s that are in parallel? 5s1p2p?

I believe the correct terminology is, "a disaster waiting to happen."

That setup is just asking for trouble, while it may be OK for a quick out and back test it will be impossible to keep those cells balanced and if you even approach using any of the packs full capacity you will puff something or worse

The 2s is 5000 and the 3s are 2650 both are 20c/30, I figured to keep the MaH close was important and that is why I thought of paralleling them. I know it is a lot of battery and weight but as you say, it would be only out and back. To go 5s I assume you would get two of the exact same batteries, 2s and 3s same MaH and C rating. Just trying to use what I have but don't want to break stuff. Thanks

let's use this as an exemple:

          4s1p 5000mAh
it means: 4cells 1pack in parallel (just one pack of 4s 5000mAh)
          4s2p 5000mAh
it means: 4cells 2packs in parallel (two packs of 4s in parallel adding up to 10000mAh)
          4s4p 5000mAh
it means: 4cells 4packs in parallel (4 packs of 4s in parallel adding up to 20000mAh)

          and so forward.

it depends on how you hook them up... actually the most important thing is keeping the C rate the same. The rest can always be used some how. If the mAh is different parallel and if the V is different you can serialize them...
