    Going out with a whimper

The Platinum Princess' last electric run, number fifty and 1/16th. She didnt go out as planned and this last run lasted 11 seconds. My brother and i were going to do some vids of me standing her vertical and running a bit, but one esc didnt want to cooperate and after the second full throttle pull a loud hiss and the right side died. I think i was too rough on her.

I brought it back in and the caps on the right side esc were just finishing venting and spitting brown goo. Going cost me a couple bucks to schulze and repair.

Anyway, now i will strip the guts from the princess and begin putting in the turbines, and i will swap all the fe stuff to the mystic hulled Arclight, should be some fun grinding a bunch of hysol off.

My brother just doesnt get it, he said we drove for nearly 2 hours for an 11 second run? I said ya!!! aint it great?! He just stared at me shaking his head.

Well, could have told him today is the first day of the rest of that boats life!;>

What are run times with the turbines? I would imagine they are like reg fuel boats in that sense but you dont cool those do you?
