    Funny shipping handling fee practice

This particular web site where i was about to order an Aquacraft Atlantic Tug Boat to use as a rescue boat for my FE boats. The website Shipping/Handling info says FREE shipping to all orders over $150, delivery to lower 48 states. The tug boat is $224.99 plus tax. I contacted the guy, and asked if the boat is available, and if indeed the shipping is free. The guy tells me he can't shipped it free for that price($224.99) Then, i told him his website says FREE shipping to all order over $150. He says, "i only make $20 bucks on the boat". OK, i don't mind paying the shipping fee. But, still think its wrong to tell your customer one thing, and not backing it up.

He's probably got a disclaimer somewhere on the site that say "for small items only" or similar.

This is the worst part of purchasing items over the internet or tv promotions. The hidden shipping and handling costs of dubious suppliers will kill you, especialy if you need replacement parts

              Steven,
It says $150 qualifies for FREE shipping to lower 48 states.

Here's the video on you tube, and the comment about the free shipping.

The stickler "qualifying purchases" I wonder if there are any.

I doubt if there's any "qualifying purchases". He sends me an email saying if i want FREE shipping. He would have to raise the price of the boat... Well, he just lost a sale. I'm buying it at Tower Hobbies even though its $25 more plus shipping. But, atleast they are up front about their prices.

The website now says there is no free shipping for that boat.
