Is 130 degrees for lipo and motor, and 170 degrees for ESC too much?

Is 130 degrees for lipo and motor, and 170 degrees for ESC too much?

    Hi,
I'm running a 32 inch mono, on 4s lipo, 3674 Feisuda 1845KV (equivalent to 9XL), 200a Skywing with ETTI cooling plate, and X448.

Approx Temps after 5 min run at WOT are:

    Lipo - 130
    Motor - 130
    ESC - 170

Simple question - is this too much?

    Thanks.

Yowzers! A 32 foot mono should have something like triple Verado 300's instead of a 9XL.

Seriously though, to me, that ESC temp sounds a bit high. Motor and batts are a bit warmish.

What mAh lipos are you running to get 5 min runtime?? I would suggest that you run the boat for 3 min at a time,, then tell us what those temps look like....
Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

ESC is to high for me, batts and motor are great for a 5 min run. I am willing to bet if you drop the runtime to 4 min you will prob be in the 140 degree range on the ESC.

Where did you take the ESC temps? The capacitor temps can be much higher than the board temperature.

            Thanks for your input.

I am using 5000mah lipos, and i took ESC from top side, not of capacitors, which is opposite ETTI water cooling plate. I guessed, this is hottest part of ESC.

What is a safe temp on ESC long term ? 150?

And Yowzers - i live in Europe man - we use metric measurement here, and i'm not used to inch nomenclatures. Thanks for noting - i corrected it.
