                          cat cat cat

yeah, I would have to go with the cat also.

Of course a planing barge for overnight delivery of coal loads on the ohio river would be cool also!

When I made my 24" folgers fast electric a lloooonnnngggggg time ago, I did it the same way. Built the sponsons (but as wood over foam) and then the wing between them.

The ride surface was origianly stepped also, but it was a straight 3 degree step, not flat and then rounds up into the step like the current cats do. That way each ride surface was at a 3 degree angle of attack while running level.

Ended up changing it and filling it in with light weight micro balloons, then added a flat ride pad for lift. Back then fast electric didn't work all that well. I was trying for a sport boat for my fiance to run and 12 cells with a 700 motor in it was heavy and pooped fast!

I am putting in a brushless now and have thougth about removing the ride pad and milling out the epoxy/micro balloons soit is stepped again.

Looks cool, how long are they?

                          I am watching this one!

what surprises me is the sort of compartment in the middle??? if it's a mono it would be the battery location but I doubt it is, seems too narrow for a mono unless it is a cigarette style???
