How swollen? There is a good chance it is dead.

I have some Elite's that are slightly puffed, but still work great.

I had lipo pack puff up on me a bit. It felt like it had air in it. I watched it closely while charging and the gas must have worked its way out of the pack while in storage. Still balances nicely and I still use it. I had another pack that started having balancing problems with one cell. I still used it and kept a close eye on it. After about a half dozen cycles, it did puff after a run. This time if felt solid like the cell swelled up so I immediately disposed of it.

I have seen packs appear to puff when it's only the shrink covering. I have carefully put a couple of pinholes in the covering and it goes right down. So it isn't always a bad cell that has puffed!
