It did spend a lot of time on its back as well, those didn't make the highlite reels !!!
I was only running about 1/2 throttle into the waves but fuul speed with the waves , it was fun.

haha thats nothing. i have taken my no step and cats off huge wakes from boats. i launched it off a 56 foot carver's wake while plowing to drop on plane and it could have cleared the bridge of the carver.
i took my little no step 1 mono threw 4 foot swells and it doesn't go over them. it goes threw them literately with out a problem.
BTW when you run like that it is no very healthy for the motor and flex shaft to be loaded and un-loaded all the time like that. just thought i'd tell you

A few weeks ago I finished up a BBY OM29, I usually fly planes but when the breeze is up it is time for me to hit the beach. Last weekend I ran my OM29 in 20+ Kts of breeze on Long Island Sound and there were 1-2' waves. I was really impressed in how well the OM did in the waves, what a hoot getting 12-18" of air and flying 10' from wave to wave. Waves are good fun. One thing I have taken to doing is running a bigger prop when the waves are up for the fact that I know I will not be WOT for long periods of time and it helps getting her out of the "hole" quicker. Cool video.

            Cheers,
            Jim

Racing on flat water is great,,,,,running in rough water is entertaining:D
We need more vids of things like this for everyone. Going in a circle gets old quickly

                That's not major air...
(in my best Crocodile Dundee voice...)

                This is major air
                (With an SV at least)

It doesn't always end well though...remember to tape the hatch!

Stinger; I'll agree, you have some good air, but my vid shows consecutive jumps ,,,,,all with reasonably successfull landings:rolleyes: . Your pics are really nice though:)
