Anyone know who makes this "Vintage" hull?

    Hello All,

I saw the Dumas SK Daddle thread in the build forum and it started me thinking about finishing the almost flatbottom hull I have.

First I would like to know if anyone knows anything about this hull, who manufactured it? I had seen two others with the exact same paint scheme before but no one has been able to provide any background info on it.

It was given to me by a friend that had it for a long time, but didn't know anything about it.

It is 35.5" long, 13" beam at its widest point. It is 2.5" tall at the transom.

I am thinking about setting it up semi-scale with a submerged drive, much like SK Daddle. I am planning on using a 700-800 sized brushed motor on 4S lipo. I will be making an acrylic hatch to waterproof the interior as well.

I am not looking for anything more than 20-30 mph out of it because I am assuming it will be a handful to drive.
If anyone can provide any info, it would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Brad

The SK Daddle was a Dumas (you know who THEy are I hope) product. It's a model of a "K boat" or "ski boat" that is very competitive in the racing circles. MRP made the "Outrageous" which is the same type of hull, and A LOT OF FUN when set up well. You should have no problem getting a good speed out of it.

      Hey Andy,

Thanks for the response. I knew someone on here would recognize it.
Do you know of anyone who has one or has pictures of one with hardware installed? I am trying to figure out how to setup it up the best way possible, the first time.

      Thanks again,
      Brad

Set it up as a standard mono hull.
