New Fastech and my son

I got my son a new Fast Tech and we took it out for its maiden voyage last night! She is really quick out of the box, it was raining lightly with a steady breeze so we didn't run long!

This baby handles the chop pretty good and the smile on my son's face was worth getting wet!

Now don't misunderstand it ain't no Catamaran but it will be fun to drive! You know you just can't teach this kid nothing! He perfers Mono's over Cats -- what's up with that????

Two years ago I bought a AQ Hammer for my son. Now we're racing and the fleet's getting bigger. Wish more would get their kids into the hobby.

Funny, I talked my dad into a FasTech and he LOVES it. I just thought I would chime in on this father/son thread... He likes how monos bank on the turn... I don't get it.

Ya, then he'll be talking you into something crazy that will be invented in 10 years or something. Being on his own don't cut off nobody! I have been on my own for 18 years and we still talk FE all the time (my wife don't get it). He got me into it, then it took me a while to get back into it, but realize how much I learned boating with him! Enjoy, but also don't worry about the future, it usually gets better...
